Two Malden Catholic Students Receive Harvard Book AwardMalden Catholic seniors Thomas MacWilliam of Everett and Daniel Smith of Wakefield have been presented the Harvard Book Award in recognition of "excellence in scholarship and high character, combined with achievement in other fields."
Former US Ambassador to Egypt Speaks at MCFrancis J. Ricciardone, former Ambassador to Egypt, guest scholar at the U.S. Institute of Peace and member of the Malden Catholic High School Class of 1969, recently spoke to MC juniors regarding his career path and his experience as ambassador.
MC Baseball Standouts Announce College PlansTwo Malden Catholic baseball All-Stars have announced their plans to attend Div. 1 programs next year. These MC students will enter Columbia University and University of Massachusetts-Amherst in September. Click here for the story.

MC Night at the Bruins Date: January 19, 2009 1:00 PM Join members of the MC Community on Monday, January 19th as Malden Catholic Alumnus Keith Tkachuk '90 and the St. Louis Blues take on the Boston Bruins at the TD Banknorth Garden. Tickets, located in the balcony - section 329, are $55.00 each. Limit four tickets per person.
MC Drama Performance Date: November 14, 2008 to November 16, 2008 The Malden Catholic Lancers Drama Club will perform the play, "Death by Arrangement," at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14 and Saturday, Nov. 15. The performance will be at the Hayes Auditorium at Malden Catholic. Tickets are $5 at the door.
Eighth Graders Meet MC Alumni Date: December 08, 2008 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Eighth grade boys and their parents are invited to meet MC alumni on December 8 at Montvale Plaza, Stoneham, at 6:30.
